Community Relations Director // Milton, WA, Full-time, $65k-$75k Base, Commission

The Community Relations Director (CRD) will be responsible for securing reservations and continuously work toward meeting or exceeding the yearly budgeted census on an on-going basis. The CRD represents the community in a positive and professional manner, bringing awareness to the immediate neighborhood regarding the community and all services provided. Candidates must be able to plan and implement existing marketing events for the public and the residents.

RESPONSIBLIITIES:

•Maintain and/or improve community occupancy level and revenue production, in accordance with business and marketing plans.

•Must be able to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment.

•Manage sales process by understanding prospective residents’ needs and educating them about the community’s services and programs.

•Cold calling to prospective residents through post-card mailing, advertisements mediums and third-party assistance.

•Coordinate and complete all activities needed for sales, including visiting prospects’ homes, conducting initial assessments or sales presentations, and ensuring all required forms are completed prior to move-in.

•Increase community awareness through participation in outside events, professional groups, and local community involvement.


QUALIFICATIONS:

•A minimum of three (3) years of experience in Marketing and/or Sales working within Senior Living – especially working with Independent Living residents.

•This is a salary plus commissions position.

Must have proficiency with computers, Microsoft Office, and database systems.

•Must have extensive community outreach experience.

•Must have the ability to effectively listen and communicate both verbally and in writing.

•Must be proficient with CRM database software.

Must be comfortable working in a team-oriented environment.

•Bachelor’s degree a plus.
